Welcome to the Hornerville Battle Log
Every battle leaves a mark on Hornerville.
The Battle Log is where players and Worldkeepers record important encounters, victories, defeats, discoveries, escaped enemies, and unexpected moments from their adventures. These reports help preserve the history of the living world and allow other adventurers to learn what happened.
After a battle, briefly record:
Who participated
Where the battle occurred
Who or what was fought
Important actions or turning points
The final outcome
Enemies who escaped
Injuries, rewards, discoveries, or consequences
You do not need to describe every attack or dice roll. Focus on the moments that made the battle memorable.
Copy Your Battle from the Battle Room
The Hornerville Battle Room includes a button that allows you to copy the battle record.
When the encounter ends:
Use the button in the Battle Room to copy the battle.
Return to the Battle Log.
Paste the copied information into a comment.
Add any missing details, character reactions, or consequences.
Post it using your character’s name—not your real name.
Worldkeepers may also edit the copied information into a more cinematic account before posting it.
Why Battle Records Matter
Hornerville is a living world. A battle does not disappear when the final enemy falls.
Survivors may spread stories about the adventurers. Defeated enemies may return with new tactics. Rescued travelers may remember who helped them. A damaged location may remain changed, and discoveries made during one battle may lead to future quests.
Recording your battles allows those consequences to become part of Hornerville’s continuing history.
